Cucv spin on fuel filter question.

It doesn't get that bad here in west Tennessee. I can get a external heater off sneezebay if needed and this filter has a water separator so once a month open the drain to check. I may end up in Canada or Alaska or other very cold places and I will check out the winter front and also this...

Back up beeper for a larger MVs.

Good point. How about a train horn? I'm mean that will knock the idiots down.

Back up beeper for a larger MVs.

I know they are annoying but a back up beeper can save a life. Everyone sees people walking in parking lots with their face stuck in the cell phone. They might not see that 13k lbs duece rolling towards them, but a beeper they might hear. I don't have a deuce or other large MV but a beeper...

If you work beneath your truck, absolutely close the cab doors!

I have hit the door of my truck once. Most of the time I just roll out far enough to see the truck then get up. Also I can tell you that the handle bars on a four-wheeler don't give.

Blow Torch with my little Homelight Generator

I have one for the green machine. I don't keep it hooked up. I can just toss it in the seat and hook it up if needed.

Cucv spin on fuel filter question.

Well got the spin on done. Thanks for all the help. I ended up using a small clear in line fuel filter as a double Barb/sight glass. Plus it catches any extra stuff, hopefully. Thanks again Sorry the pic sucks

What have you done to your CUCV today/lately - Part 2

Today I had to chew a round. I had to swap out the old, box filter for a spin on unit. The old one was sucking air, and I could have plugged the hole for the pressure sensor (im sure tgat it was leaking) but when I'm in 4x4 low holding the peddle on the mat climbing out of a muskeg swap in...

I'm going to as soon as the time presents itself. I think we need a thread with tips and tricks to help con, talk into or whatever our (in my case) dad, or other half to let you get a MV. I know if it was my wife (don't have one) conplaining about me getting one I would buy 2.

I don't like mixed and matched fittings but that's just me. It might not make a difference but someone smarter than me may say it doesn't or does matter. Cucvrus, 4x4forever this is your que guys.
