RE: Re: RE: Re: RE: Kirkersville fuel/and meeting stop
I've had to bail out on going too... To many things going on with the business while trying to keep up with the site. Still considering flying up for the weekend...
If anyone needs my spots please get with Mike on them.
Patrick,
I am thinking of using a block of milled aluminum with a backing plate into the rear pan sump for a pick up, basically like the UK truck was/is done... As always im busy as all get out and I have some projects which I have promised to complete first (wheels, alternator kits) but I...
Your could proably mail them back a piece of firewood with a tin can nailed to it and they wouldn't know the difference between that and the actual item they are looking for...
Its a paper chase... Contact the DRMO in Battle Creek about it, if they give you a hard time contact your local...
Yep sure do, I include them with the kits for the M35, forged brass, not the cheap cast ones. Here is the individual listing.

Sorry for the delay in answering Patrick, its been hard keeping up with postings lately but ditto on what Bjorn said...
I am working on putting together a cable operated heater control valve assy for M35's that would shut off the heaters flow when not in use and would up the flow rate across...
Just to point it out...
High silicone levels are not always a bad thing depending the type of oils you use, some manufactures use it as part of the anti wear package. Both dyno and synthetic Rotella's will show high levels which are easy to misread as something their not.
The term "micron" means nothing when it comes to a filters ability to filter... What is the filters beta rating? Is there lab data on this truck? What did the base line testing show on the engine before installing them? What are you seeing now?
I've said many times in the past that I will...
Yeah I have key switches listed and I also have keyed 1500 amp battery disconnects but I know US branches used the above type lock set ups on a unit level... Some guys like the authenticity thing more so than the add on stuff and I want to be able to cater to both! [thumbzup]
Gimme some time...
Guys I have the coolant filters listed in my store for both SCA and non SCA filters. I also have the bases, and a kit for the M35's which have the fittings needed to tap into the engine.
Filters and base... http://odiron.com/store/index.php?cPath=8_18
M35 Kit...
lol... Hu? What? WHere? Ya saying Emmando?
Yes im listening... Im BUSY as all get out but am considering the idea... I think I could prolly do something out of sheet metal which would look a little better. Hummmm
Ditto...
Also double up your lock washers, install a second UNDER the cable end and then the normal one over top of it. It helps stop cable roatation. Star washers work best for this but a regualr lock usually does the trick.
RE: Re: RE: Clutches, Pressure Plates, Confusion
No the 5 ton are solid fiber disc (why I dont know, bad materal)... http://odiron.com/store/index.php?cPath=50_52
The 6 "puck" solid plate design for the M35's is the most current and the pucks are metalic.
That is totally up to you... HOWEVER I would suggest bolting them and they are punched for the rear holes which bolt through the front fender support. The bumper side was left blind. Because the bumper detentions are so subjective between vehicles its almost impossible to put a punch out and...
Mike hit the nail on the head... Im not adding holes to these for mounting anything as Joe Deuce would want this... and Bob Deuce would want that. Simplicity and versatility is the key with these...
You basically have 23X24" of working room... plus several more cubic inches along the bumper...
Its ether going to kill yours or mine!!! I am a nervous little boy right now... Kinda scary to be dumping all of this cash!!! [thumbzup]
I will eventually find some tie downs to go with them but right now im playing catch up... Kenny gave me the idea of using the hood latches for locking down...
