I scrapped out a taker several years ago. If yours has the stainless steel tank you can make some good money. You have to cut off all the other steel off it to get max money.
For working on the engine you can't beat the 900 series.
I've owned both (have an M927A2 now) and standing on your head to work on the engine in an 800 series sucks.
The 900 series rides a lot better too.
I put an aftermarket seat in mine and it made a huge difference in comfort.
There are several members along that route.

IMHO the M105 bed thing has been way over done.
The wheelbase and bed are too short.
It needs a flat bed with tool storage underneath and dual stacks.
Then it would look like a truck.
