GP vs GL, which do you like better

No love for GSA? I always enjoyed free SF-97s within one week of purchase, same day pickup, and no buyers premium.

    M105 What should I pay?

M105s are a dime a dozen. A near perfect one runs about $1200-$1500 if it's truly perfect. If in good serviceable condition around $750-ish. **These prices are subject to your area.**

    MRAP Seats ?

I have 3 and they're hard on the back and bum. I wouldn't mind them for off roading but on a road trip forget it. Go with the caiman seats for sure.

    M936 Wrecker Wiper Seals

I recent bit the bullet and got all my seals and hoses replaced. The one seal I could not source at all is the wiper seal to keep the debris out of the cylinder. I took it to my local hydraulic specialist who services everything big and small and they didn't have anything for it nor could they...

    Maine RS maintenance center

I had an m923a1 refurbished in 1999 there. What years did they contract the m939 as compared to the hmmwv?

    M818 better fuel mileage

Can confirm NDT's post. My m915a1 got 6.5 mpg bobtailing at 60 mph and 4.5 mpg flat towing a 5 ton at 55 mph. I have since stepped up to 395s on it but have not taken it for a long enough drive to get accurate mileage. The mileage is the mileage on these beasts.

Are the Florida titles worth it?

If your state accepts the sf-97 then go with that. Some states require a title for these MV's and nothing less so that's where the Florida title comes in.

Won a M977 HEMTT in Ft. Drum

I'd like to know more about the process and how they handled it if you don't mind. I'm use to the old "GL way or the highway" approach.

    m915 tire tread

I'm running 395s on my 915a1 and they are excellent tires, I recommend them. I will try to get a height measurement for you today if I can break away from work.

What have you done to your 5 ton this week?

Turned a non-runner into a runner. Had an 06 RRAD rebuild M923A2 with 41 miles since rebuild and it ran like crap, lots of white smoke but new IP. Turns out the timing was 360 off and now it runs like a beast, even turned the fuel up a little. Saved another one.:jumpin:

    Issues with SF-97

I've been averaging 6-8 weeks to just get the SF-97 with no EUC. I touch base with the titling department weekly and they said they have 600 requests backlogged as of this past week. This bottleneck costs us, the buyers, money from late fees and etc when we file it for the title.

m936a2 road speed average time frame

I'll do 63-66 on the flatways with my M936A2. She's a little slow on the getup-n-go but the pump is stock if not under tuned..it did come from a hospital unit with only 200 miles since rebuild so I doubt they did much of anything with it.

Tucson to Ft Bliss to OKC to Ft Riley to St Louis, and back.

Age, sitting in the sun, possibly flat before GP photos, flat spot in the belt, road heat, etc.. it all adds up but at least it was on a rear!!
