Spent the day working out on the truck. I load tested each battery getting 12.6/12.8/12.0/11.8 respectively and used the slave off my running M931 to charge them and when attempting to crank. Trying to simplify the situation I completely removed all the 6TMFs and put in two recently new...
It very well could be a bad battery, all were showing between 12.8V-12.6V though they are revived "good old" 6TMFs . I did clean the battery contacts and double check their connections but I'll give it a shot tomorrow.
PM me again, my inbox was full earlier.
The rear axle did I swear...
Murphy came on a recovery with me this weekend when hitting a rough patch in a construction zone. The truck ran great but after we got home and I tried to start her again issues appeared. Initially engaging the starter resulted in the engine trying to turn over but it never got a full rotation...
I've been looking into putting new tires on my M931 and have an opportunity to get a set of HEMAT 15 x 22.5 tires for a good price. The question is will they fit on my M931 singled out without any modification and will they clear the mud guard next to the fuel tanks? I don't want to step up to...
So far out of the 8 hawkers I've had 7 good to go after some time (24 hours per) on a smart charger. Two of those were at .4V so it's possible to save them but they may be at reduced capacity to some extent. Here's some info off the manufacturer's site to charge them, I followed it. Don't go...
Just to confirm what Jeepsinker said, he is 100% correct. The design for the TX200-6 Allison transmission was sold off to the UK for their FV430s and is under strict regulation from international sale. The LDS465-2 pump was unique and truly irreplaceable even if you had an A1 model IP. I know...
I'm assuming that MRAPs go under armor..anyways. I picked up this dual output 7-pin & 12-pin connector box off an RG33L model MRAP and am curious to it's purpose and capabilities. Finding a TM that answers this is either behind a paywall or needs DoD access (TM 9-2355-320-10). Any input would be...
No no..you've got it all wrong. Now we can post the same questions on the forum AND the facebook page at the same time to get answers twice as fast. rofl
ke5eua is on the road as of an hour ago (just got home myself). Rain was heavy just after departure just north of where the HET was but let up after 20 mins. I'm holding the M818 until his return..just take Murphy with you when you do lol!
I'm in College Station and have a Med-Heavy Towbar with 1" feet you can use if you get a new bracket mounted. (I may be at the DPS/Tax Office so text me first if able).
I went out to play/inspect it again and she moved under her own power in low range; no unnatural noises or strain. I didn't want to waste the opportunity so I parked her on a gentle incline and shifted into high range and she took without the grinding. The lever was more ridged to move into high...
