BTW, the pic of the damaged cable was the damage resulting with the trailer operating without stoplights or signals. We trimmed up the excess cable and got all the lights properly working again.
The pic of the singled out rim is when we looked at an inner nut that had come free from the inner...
Thanks John!
I'll have more pics soon. Ken and I are planning to do some more work on 'Storm either Thursday or this weekend or both, we'll see. It all depends upon his work schedule. We have planned a muffler installation, drain & fill all the cases, get the trailer brakes up and working...
Grunt,
Where in Texas are you? Could you please include that in your signature?
Bjorn,
Yep crankcase breather is my reference. I'm buying a pyro from NAPA today and installing it before returning to IN. I also will be installing a muffler as well. Other improvements are scheduled as well...
DB,
I've never had any problems with my deuce from Johnny Law. I've blown by scales and many interceptors have passed me without as much as a second glance.
Update;
Well, I left Evansville, IN at 1430 on Thursday and arrived at Ken's in Houston approximately 1730 on Friday. I stopped in Little Rock for a six hour snooze.
Now the data:
The gross weight of everything was #29,000. I burned approximately 140 gallons over 840 miles. 'Storm likes to...
Ok everyone, I'm planning a departure time of about 1200 today. I should have bunches of pics this weekend and help Ken have a pic of his truck for his avatar. We'll see how things go. Everything is cubed out to the max in both the truck and trailer. I also have two cats traveling with me...

JR,
Nice snag! Good to see it's going to a good owner! I'd definitely keep that one red for sure considering how close you are to Ground Zero. It would make a nice parade truck for any honorariums in NYC I think.
SG,
Yes I fully encourage everyone to harass to the fullest extent the brokers!!!!!!!!!!! Those S.O.B.s take 60% or more of what you are paying for themselves and the driver is left to fend for himself after the company cut, fuel, truck necessities, food and so on. I know this first hand. I have...
LTRN,
Thanks for the number! I misplaced his number. Yeah, he's VERY reasonable! I got my 109 box from him. Drove from Evansville, IN over, lifted off the bed, lifted on the box and drove away all for $800 installed! (not including fuel)
