    Check valve for oil filters?

I think had and lost that diagram your referring to some time ago and have been looking for it ever since... It was in a post somewhere a LONG time ago... If ya get the chance I would very much appreciate getting a copy. I couldn't remember the exact psi on those but I knew it was much lower...

    Diablo Build Update (pics)

Im going to use 395's so 20" bead locks are in the future... I am keeping the old style lamps... I like them for some reason!!! I need to get new covers for the ones on the front and powder coat them black.

    Check valve for oil filters?

*sigh*.... I generally avoid addressing people directly when I have a difference in opinion. As simple human nature it makes people defensive and is generally seen as provocative. On the other hand this is the second time you've told me to go study something... Pick up the phone... call Herc...

    Diablo Build Update (pics)

Ok some pics of it in one piece (kinda) ... I still have boat loads to do but at least its road worthy... You can see where I had to box out the front fender for clearance for the alternator. I think it turned out pretty good for a "whoops"... Something I am slowly working on also is the tool...

    Lockers, spools, open?

Yep a ABR would be the thing for the front axle... Other wise and $ wise I would go with a locker, not a spool... As everyone says at least you can turn when your off the gas.

    Check valve for oil filters?

You don't have to modify the valves... Its a matter of having filters with the correct flow parameters. You can interchange from 50M to 5M with no pressure problems provided you have the correct flow designed into the system... As I said before... it just leads to a larger filter to handle the...

    Florida Round Up...

After seeing what the GA boys have been up to this past fall I've been considering a meet some time in later Feb before it gets to hot. My father (a avid forum wall fly) has 100 acres plus in west Orlando which would be prefect for a weekend get together / trail ride / BBQ / camp out / what...

Diesel fuel pump vs gas fuel pump

If your not worried about it being "original" you can yank the M35 pump and put a flat cover over the hole (then sell it)... Or keep the cover, yank the pump out and plumb through it... and use a generic electric fuel pump from napa or whomever from a pick up line on one of the 2 remaining ports...

    combat rims for 9405511899562560918108 truck

I'd give (many things I can not mention due to filters on the site) for those wheels to be on my truck!!!! You see... Were all just as green when it comes to envy no matter what truck we own!

Generator belts slipping and no room to adjust

Some general belt info that might be helpful... Reguardless of sizes you have 3 general choices for auto V belts... I say "general" and "auto" loosely because there are a endless V belt list with different ratings... Standard V, bottom cog and top cog ... life, longevity, or rating goes in...

    Winch disassembly

That thing is a pain in the arse... The shaft gear has to be removed or at least the shaft moved out from the worm gear before the worm can come out. Once you have the clearance you should be able to knock the worm out of the casing... After that is out of the way the worm and bearings should...

    Check valve for oil filters?

Vice versa... It would take longer to get up to temp... Seeing the oil housing assembly off of the engine did me little good other than getting to see the flow and over all operation. The hard part to a LD is finding the numbers to the oil system so that you are working with the correct flow...

    Check valve for oil filters?

Some how I lost track of this thread... That is all there is available... Cartridge style filters in a lube setting are like the ugly step child of filters as they are early 1900's technology and made out of lesser quality elements which was what they were specified for in design. BW and I...

    Diablo Build Update (pics)

I still have LOADS of odds and ends, the bed, tool boxes, consoles, head liner etc, etc, etc to do... I think "next" will be a matching "utility cart" or golf cart as I call them for the bed... OD, top, lift kit, dump bed, maybe a matching front end to the Deuce... Then I can get back to...

    Redi-Sleave - Transfer case output

It pays to look up the NSN number when you are looking for parts... Which is why the data base is listed first by NSN. This cuts out any confusion on vehicle type and / or descriptions which may greatly vary person to person... One mans muffler bearing is another mans exhaust bushing. Looking...
