So you want an ex-military vehicle sitting in the desert for 11yrs to be perfect?
all tires need immediate replacement
windshields? At least you have them…
brake light on? No or low brake fluid or pressure , wire disconnected at pro valve.
99% of every truck from auction has Tcase engaged…no...
They all are just fine…ive been using Fram PH5’s for 20yrs, recently in the last 2yrs or so, switched to
AC Delco PF1218, I buy them in cases of 10 or more for the shop.
US military uses same filter.
And when I had them for sale at that price, customers still whined like crazy…sold my last one a few weeks ago at $3500, and even than, I didn’t want to sell it…it was what I was offered From the customer.
I was in talks with the OEM Mfg to make more of these, they are out of production, but if I ordered about 100 at $2200 ea, they would retool back up….not.
no, I’m saying maybe Attempt to install them first…but yes, there are left and rights of the side rails.
im just point out “as I did in my first post” even the OEM kits often require some fudging.
so as I understand it, you have not attempted to install this kit on a truck but your convinced it’s not going to fit?
you have never had an OEM kit nor installed one to compare it with the kit your bought from SECO?
just trying to understand the logic…
For those who have never installed an OEM top….your going to find fitment varies from truck to truck even with OEM top kits, so unless you have attempted to fit your aftermarket hardware, I would not pass judgement so quickly.
ots not uncommon to have to cut or grind a bit to get this garbage to...
that’s a recipe for disaster…the fuel drain back line is is dumping directly into all your wet components instead of returning to the fuel tank. Cant say I’ve ever seen that in 30yrs.
that ended up being a bad Cadillac valve solenoid..the reason it eluded me was because I originally replaced it during TS and it didn’t fix the issue….I generally only replace the solenoid and not the entire unit.
once I had a buyer of the truck, I had to fix it.
All newer trucks from the factory have a separate vent hose from the fuel pump to the fuel filler neck.
This prevents fuel contamination into other wet components when the diaphragm fails in the pump.
A2 on up to ECV, than REV came out with wilwood brakes. Either way…drivers side HS has to come off. I do a brake job every couple of weeks on these trucks.
