Data plate and it also has a brake controller on the dash with a big control unit inside the frame rail on drivers side near the back. There is also a plate on the dash when Colorado State University had it in 1975!
So today I noticed this 1955 Reo M36 has the data plate under model stamped OD-90 any idea what the heck that is. It has Consolidated (something) painted on the door.
My GPW engine is junk. I know of a CJ motor in Denver, I just want to make sure all the accessories and the engine will bolt in with no problem if I were to get it.
So my M38 needs a motor. It has a GPW motor currently in it. As far as a long block, what are the differences between MB/GPW, CJ2A, and M38 engines? I know of the timing chain/timing gear changes; what else is there. All I have found are CJ2A engines.....
Got more parts in. Installed some seals. Received the new seat covers ECT, from New Life. Started disassembling seats-notice the brown carpet?aua More dash stuff installed-the 3 lever switch is coming back out for paint (so much for being new). Finally painted the bed, not really happy with it...
Bed is in final primer tonight, inner fenders installed, front hood seal installed (with totally worthless fasteners), rear shocks installed, and the Seabee "beep" installed. Just got in a ton of new parts too!
