Here's a 20-ton RT crane: http://www.olive-drab.com/idphoto/id_photos_238c_crane.php
There's also the Case MC2500 30-ton Rough Terrain Crane, but I couldn't find a picture of it.
One sold on GL the other day for around $33k. It was a beaut too! You could probably score a rough-terrain crane for that if you are patient and it would be a lot more efficient.
The .375" diameter ones look like the right size for the A1 rims, which take a fatter o-ring, about 3/8". I will get a pic of each and post them.
I meant to write 20x5/16" above, not 3/16.
Call your local truck service shop or truck tire shop and tell them you have some 20" bolt-together rims on a piece of equipment. Tell them you need some 20x1/4" o-rings. Those will work fine on the A2 rims. The A1 rims require a fatter o-ring... maybe a 2-x3/16", but I'm not positive.

I got an email back from GL. The very nice lady said they will issue me a paper title. Apparently I am the first person in VA to have a problem. I have to mail the SF-97 to AZ and then it will take another 10 days to get the title done. Sigh... At least it will be all legal like and my...
This is the first time I have ever had a problem in WV or VA. My WV SF-97 was in my name though. The DMV's biggest issue is the reassignment of the SF-97, not the SF-97 itself. Most of the clerks I have worked with already knew what a SF-97 was. They just aren't talking the reassignment...
RE: Re: VA DMV now rejecting GL
Yeah, I thought about ITS, but it just ticks me off that I already paid $60 for useless paperwork. VA DMV doesn't give a hoot about a bill-of-sale. I love how GL takes a FL title reassignment form and just scratches the word "title" out and writes SF-97 in...
I went to the DMV 3 weeks ago to title the M105A2. I walked in, titled it, and walked out in less than 20 minutes. I have titled 3 other GL items there in exactly the same way.
Today was different though. The lady (who knows me on a first name basis) disappeared into the back office. She...
Man, we went through some stuff in my CUCV Blazer, Brad's K5 and your K5! At least I never tore the door off of my truck. You can blame Brad for that :) I have a CUCV pick-up in my yard right now that may make the trip if it is still around. Looking forward to seeing you, Mike.
Once you get all of that weight hanging on the front end, you will be able to better assess the contact pattern at different pressures. I think I would start out at 80 PSI and see what they look like. Running 100 PSI may reduce your traction in the snow if it causes the tire to crown...
Good job Eric. I'll be interested to see what they say.
I received a PM from a fellow SS member who emailed the Seabees asking for the VietNam era paint code. They told him what it was. He just needs to dig up the info. He will get back to me in a couple of days with the answer I hope.
That is a beaut M1075!
Junior, are you talking about the modern trucks like the one above or the earlier trucks? The current trucks are shot with regular CARC 383 Green or 686A Tan or CARC 3-color. I had a 3-color Seabee M923A2 and Bkubu has a Desert Tan CARC 925A2.
My Dad's 756A2 is...
I think he's picking both up. He won a blazer that he's getting first and while he's getting it he's going to throw a tape on the deuce to make sure it will fit. Then, he'll go back for the deuce.
That's what it sounded like to me anyways :)
I like how you start the post with not beating the dead horse and then you proceed to beat it! This is not the time or the place to debate whether or not GL should remain a SS advertiser. Just because they advertise here does mean that we, the site management, slant one way or the other...
