I did the opposite on my m1009 haha, went from 3.08 to 4.10 with my 36" tires. What rpm do you run at on the highway? 55 for me is about 2200. Speed limits here are 75 on the highway, but I dont like to see the rpms that high for sustained driving.

Get 4.10's, they are great with 36's but limit your top end speed. 3.73 with 36's put you to stock.

4" lift and regeared mine and did 3/4 ton axles. Mine likes rocks. With the diesel it is way more capable than the gas blazers.

Mine will rev real high if there is air in the fuel lines, like right after I do a fuel filter. Then once I get out and prime it it runs like a top.

The truck has had an axle swap. D44 front and 14 bolt rear. I tried to tighten the nut but impact couldn't get it any tighter than it currently was? Do I need to go tighter or does that mean it's another component?

There is about 1/8" of play in my m1009's front D44 yoke. It will move in and out. What needs to be replaced and do I need to pull the whole carrier assembly to do it or just the yoke nut?
