Sorry, wanted to get it ordered before I would be away from the computer for a week and thought this would have a faster response. Delete this post as you wish. Thanks for the information, my truck is not with me right now so I cant measure them.
Thanks again for the info,
Miles
Anyone get the cucv parking brake to work with a pre 1980 14 bolt? I swapped one in earlier this year and would like to get it working with the new axle.
The np208 has no pump, however when it is in neutral I believe it engages the front drive line, which spins the lower gears and chain so it throws oil around in there. You might want to know that you are then turning everything up to the hubs which can wear out the hubs and front drive line.
Mine would light both turn signals (left and right) when I hit the brakes when I got the truck. Turned out to be the hazard light switch was turned on, but there was no flasher to make them work. Turned the switch on the column off and everything works normally.
Alright so my batteries are going down hill. If I let the truck sit for a few weeks they are dead and if I charge them up and shut the truck off with the headlights on to grab something when I come back they are to dead to start from 5 mins of headlights on. Now I know I need about 800CCA...
You dont want that bypassed. The truck will always think it is running at low load and cause early shifts and make the transmission burn clutches faster. You want it to shift later and build up more line pressure when it is under a load. First thing to do it buy a TPS and hook it up and get the...
Mine transmission was just rebuilt by a reputable shop and it has a firm 1-2 shift. I would be most concerned about the transmission and 4wd. Mine is hard to get in and out of 4wd if you dont do it the correct way. From 2hi to 4 hi should be easy when moving and the front hubs locked. From 4hi...
I used a trailer license mount. Ran the wire to feed off the taillight so it came on with the headlights. Works good and looks way better than on the tailgate imo.
Mine does the same thing...the volt meter is always in the green though. Talked with the guy at the alt shop and he said my alts looked good and were working decent. He thought it was a grounding issue for the warning light and that it was not a problem. Mine comes on at lower rpms sometimes and...
I run rotella T in the winter and summer here in tucson...I believe it is the 15W-30, maybe 15W-40....the bottles I got even said meet milspec-XXX on the back which was one letter different than the number on the visor of the truck.
On my m1009 I can push it down to the floor and the last 1/4 of travel feels different than the first part, but it can lockup the tires in a panic situation with ease and i am running bigger rear cylinders because it has a 14 bolt in the rear. When cars in front of my slam the the brakes to not...
