We have not missed a rally since we started coming to them. Oh, we never moved, we bought a house but life had other plans so it just became a vacation home. That's why the location under my profile pic has 2 locations.
I weigh about 180lbs and with the tailgate down I can very carefully still climb into the trailer, but it's right at the tipping point. It makes lifting the tongue on and off the pintle hitch easy.

I located the crane to have the forward bolts come through the aft wheel well cross member, then cut the angle that was supplied with the crane to spread the load. The aluminum wedges I made so the crane would sit flat over the corrugations.

The crane comes with some angle iron pieces that I put under the bottom, then I whittled some aluminum pieces to fit the corrugations of the floor. I'll try to remember to take some pics.

I got a "Box of free stuff" from 73m819, mostly old military vehicle magazines. Anyway, I was flipping through the September 2007 issue of "Supply Line" when I saw on page 3 a couple folks I know.

Swiss, I'm interested in the pioneer rack tools. The wife and I are already set up at the rally, see you when you get here.
