Looks cool. Seems to be professionally built. But I bet someone spent some big money on getting the A3 then converting it.
Can't see them getting the $150,000 price tag though.

I have had a flapper for years and never had a problem. If I ever got water in it, then the truck would easily show it as the black water would get thrown onto the M109 box.
My flapper is actually a good bit larger in diameter than the exhaust pipe and have about a half inch over-hang all...
We have seen them in person. Good looking trucks.
These trucks are just for intern use until a proper replacement for the MLVW can be brought out. These trucks are for use only in Canada as they have no armor.
Here are some pictures.
Can't wait to see pictures of your project ;)
Let me know if you still need any pictures. I have a lot of detailed pictures of our units unwrapped and being used ;)
We are also likely going to be opening them both up next week to get them ready for the summer season.
Sadly we are missing a...
Yup it ended on the 22nd.
It did not sell. Likely do the very expensive cost to demil the tanks. It would cost thousands just to cut them up.
And as Wolf.Dose stated, they are just empty hulls, the cost of getting them running would have been way too much unless you have money to burn. Well...
Yup.
MLU.
Let me know if you need a direct link to their thread.
Don't think anyone there won it (well no one stated they won it), but a few were likely there.
Never mind. Found out on another military site.
This is what one person had to say about it after seeing it in person:
It sold for $2900.
Not bad, I expected it to go higher from the pictures. But as the guy said, it looked better in the pictures then it did in person. Rotten fenders, rotten...
Vintage Wiring of Maine are a great bunch. Got a new harness for our M37 and it was just plug and play!
The original harness in the M37, like most old trucks, was in horrible shape. We technically could have fixed it, but we didn't want to take a chance that something happens in the future so...
ATTENTION: Anyone who is interested in buying the truck. The auction company just revised the details on the vehicle as it is being sold as "unfit registration". In other words you won't be able to register it for road use. Just like what was done to the MLVW's. So if you buy it, expect to only...
Nope no good. Truck looks bad. I will be over tomorrow to take it off your hands as a favor!
:D
Looking good. Can't wait to see the full change over ;)
Yeah sadly the guy is like that. Guess that will be your spare tire. Still good as a spare, but too bad.
We have one tire/rim we bought from him which will not hold air and slowly deflates over a couple days (bad o-ring I think). He said he would replace it, but only if we brought it back...
They are nice tires/rims. We have them on all of our deuces.
As for the one bad tire...if you bought it from who I think you bought it from, expect the answer of "too bad". Unless you send it back to him and pay shipping both ways, don't expect too much. Once it leaves the yard there is no...
Says it right in the auction listing. It does have the 6.2L. Maybe a few of the early ones had gas engines, but every one I have seen has a diesel.
Have fun at the auction. I have a very good feeling it will go for big bucks. If it wasn't so far away I would go take a look, but I don't feel...
Says the 27th on the site.
Looks pretty good. Sadly it will likely go for big bucks. I have seen a few for sale in the US without EUC's (bought before EUC's were issued for them) for pretty cheap lately.
I will be interested to see how much it goes for though. Looks to be in very good condition.
