    MEP-531a

Ran it for about 10 mins to day and place around 1500 watt load on it. I noticed that I may have incorrectly read Hz the other day at no load it runs at 64.5 ish. I did confirm the reading with my Fluke meter. The TM gives instruction on how to adjust this. 8. To adjust diesel engine speed...

    MEP-531a

I re-torqued the head today and checked the valve clearances, valves were spot on. Also checked where oil level was too 1/4" below full line on dip stick. Going to run it for awhile tomorrow. Is this generator safe for computer, microwaves, etc being a brushed motor?

Got my 2 MEP-831a's today - got one started - smoked a lot, now won't start

Your rocker cover looks like this? Don't use that port to fill the engine, you might end up blowing smoke till the cows come home. Fill your set on this port.

Got my 2 MEP-831a's today - got one started - smoked a lot, now won't start

"I noticed that when the rpms went down - the voltage output gauge would go dead as would the other gauges on the dash. Then it would speed up - and the gauges would be back to working again." The reasoning behind me recommending that you disconnect the battery was to prevent any issues the...

Title pretty much sums it up, I'm looking for MEP-831A Schematics that I can actually see. I have looked in the TM 9-6115-639-13&P in back where schematics are. When I zoom in to get a closer look, I cant read it. I have tried Google it, it just pulls the TM up. I have also checked the TM...
