    RT-524 Radios

Welcome from Kansas City. The RT-524’s are not water proof. You’ll want to cover it with something. They do transmit if they are working right. Steve Haney got my radio working. Search his name and a thread will come up with his contact info. He does great work for a fair price. Also, be sure...

    Safety standards....MIL STD 1180B...

It sounds like the state patrols reach a conclusion then make an argument that supports their view even if it’s flawed.

Yep. That was at a fundraiser we did for a girl’s softball team. We had time so the girls washed the deuce a little.

Prisoner from Lansing, KS escapes in M929.

(I’m not having luck posting a link from my phone.) An inmate from the prison in Lansing, KS escaped using a M929 5 ton dump truck. The truck has been found at 92 and Parallel in Kansas City, KS. Not sure what the guy did but I hope he gets caught. The news and half the people commenting on...

Check your grounds for the headlights. I have heard that bad grounds can cause headlights to burn out due to voltage issues.

M35A2 Parking brake shoe rivet tool?

I second taking them to a shop. That machine looks expensive. Having a shop do it takes most of the liability off of you if something goes wrong and the shoe/lining causes an accident.

Maryland doesnt want me to own a Deuce!

My deuce also has a 17 digit VIN as it came from the military. It is also listed on the gov liquidation paperwork. (Though they did get one digit wrong probably due to someone mid-reading that digit. I had gov liquidation correct that digit on the SF-97.) I heard (not claiming it’s true) that...

    Wiper Motor quick fix help!

I’ve been using air tool oil for 8 years and it doesn’t seem to cause any issues. That could vary by brand I suppose.
