A left handed drill bit, the correct size for the easy out.
If the drill bit dosent take it out..., the easy out, penatrating oil and tapping with a hammer might.
I got it this way from GL. The rear uses external G shaped clips and the front axle ends use the internal C shaped clips. The army put both kinds of clips in and called it good.:???:
WE HAVE A WINNER!!!!
ODdave wins the superman super spy ring!
Its a front axle end u joint (1.125 caps).... in the rear driveshat position (1.1875 caps)
Hmmm... I bought a "U joint strap kit" from NAPA for my 86 k20.
It had the straps and bolts. So if you know the model and year of the truck that the rear came out of, go to NAPA and tell em what you got.
$300 for all the dual exhaust parts dose not sound too bad.
Laying under your truck and cutting off the old rusty system, getting rust in your eyes, (even with saftey glasses), going to the eye doctor to get it removed, replacing rusted exhaust manifold bolts......THAT does not sound good...
It looks like it has forklift dents on the pass side. Check the transfer case adapter for cracks and or damage. And the driveshaft for dents.
Looks like a good rust free truck.:-)
