Good luck with the drive. Take an extra cushion. Deuces are rough on the rear end on long trips.

Try switching the wires on the gauge and see what happens.

$20 a wheel's a good price. I have access to a big steel shot blaster and it's great for jobs like that.

Kansas is usually pretty good with MV's. My guess is they couldn't care less if it's a HMMWV. It's the off-road only that tells them that whatever it is isn't supposed to be on the road. Registering the Mutts (no titles, just a bill of sale) has always been a piece of cake for us East Wind guys.

The manuals are set up for various levels of difficulty. Small jobs, medium jobs, and large jobs. I’d recommend downloading all of the latest versions for your model. They are pretty simple overall.
