Never thought of skinning the inside the door like that. We did have a deuce we worked on once that had foam, like packing glued inside the door on the interior side. And have considered that also.
I have yet to see a 939 truck short of the frankencabs have doors and windows that fit. The...
So you cant understand how introducing coolant to the rear of the heads as well as the front is an improvement? Better thermal efficiency is a given. More even temps from front to rear of the block and heads.... basic common knowledge of internal combustion engines says those are big benefits...
Im looking at this on an iphone so maybe im not seeing correctly butnit looks like you didnhave to trim the legs on the angle.
What thickness is the angle iron?
must depend on the location. The few ive looked at around here NG office in topeka all have 6tl. But hawkers would be a plus i dont much care for 6tl batts. Too finicky for my taste.
hey wes is this helping control your window slap also? 923 im working on will about make you go deaf with the way the windows slap the side of the cab when rolled up.
Truck should have 6tl batts in it. Trickle charge them for a few days on very low amps they hate high amp charging. Check water levels and electrolytes before charging.
Another military truck can slave another very easy. Its a very dumbed down and more efficient version of jump starting
Shows my lack of knowledge. I thought those cabs were aluminum... i swear the soft skin trucks we had overseas werent magnetic and the placards had to be taped on... maybe im confusing another truck?
Remember Wes not everyone is read to fabricate and retrofit things for their trucks. I have seriously thought about the 925 getting a big v plow. But you know.... fire can only hold so many irons.
I dont see a need to apologize for thinking out loud. I for one (and i know several guys in this thread) like to see what the others have done. I see a few designs here that kick my designs ass. So now ive been challenged to step up my game on the next build.
The bodies are modular and adapt to whatever body you want or need... im not following you conversion question... unless your wanting to go wagon or slant back or hard top 2/4 door from a soft top?
So forgive me here. But why are you running just one end on it? We have a few of these laying around. The biggest crap thing is i had 12 sets of these in my barn when it was robbed a couple years back. Just now noticed they were gone.
I just want it to go back the way it used to be when we would walk into drmo at ft riley and go over all the trucks and see what was best see what had the best parts and being "more" sure that you are buying a nice truck.
Im more of an a-hole than a jerk. Maybe thats my issue? I get tolf to F off then i get all pissy and want to get the last word in the last f you buddy.
