Cool. When i'm traveling i always stop at VFW's or court houses etc. Thats what the stuf is there for, us to look at. The kids think its cool, and the wife just rolls her eye's.
I wanted to publicly say thanks to Lance Robson for his help with my MEP-002A genset. He picked it up in Ft. Drum and brought it to his house in a ice storm. Lance then called me and said "Don't send me any money till i check it out and get it running." At that point he's my intrest free bank...
Aboonski, good deal on the genset. I just aquired one also and its missing all the ground rod stuff. Could you get some close-ups of the parts and some measurements please? It looks like stuff that could be easly made on the lathe.
Thanks Randy
Not the best known?????!!!!! Thats where i went to college! But it wasn't owned by Penn State when i went. It was the Williamsport area Community College. (WACC). My cousin went for the diesel program and i went for machine tool technology. I met my wife there and moved her down to Chester...
Your doing a nice job. If you find a chick that likes it, hold on to her. When i went to college, i couldn't even afford to drive my 72 Plymouth Duster with a slant six. If i had $5 in my pocket, i was rich. Where are you going to college?
Thanks Phil, The weight's look to be the same for both trailers. I'm gonna put the heavier GVWR on the sf-97. I can always lower it, but increasing it is a little more involved.
Does the M101A1 and the M101A2 have the same empty weight and highway GVWR?
I cant find the TM for the M101A1, only the A2.
A2:
Empty:1340
Loaded highway: 3590 (2250 payload)
Loaded offroad: 2840 (1500 payload)
What does everybody put on there SF-97? Highway or offroad weight?
I think the...
My first GL purchase went well. No snags and Murphy didn't show up. My M101A1 is in decent shape. It has brand new, still has the tits, tires on it. The hand brakes work. I could have towed it home, but just to play it safe, i winched it onto my car trailer. No extra's in the back except for...
Looking good John. I might have to make another visit.
Since work is slow, now is definatly the time to take care of all those projects. And then when work picks up in the summer (hopefully), you wouln't even have time to enjoy them.
Randy
Hey Jake, Its good to hear from you!
atankersdad is working on reformating the hi-8 video from last year. I will post a link when i get it. I'm working on getting some green iron. I have to pick up my new genset from Lance in FIG this Saturday. And pick up a M101A1 trailer from Bordentown NJ...
The center being too big dosent really matter. I've run 8 lug Ford wheels on my chevy, (center too big), with no problems. The chevy 6 lug ralleys dont match, and will probley be silver, but they are 15 x 8 x 6lug and thats what you need. Just paint it green.:-D
