Gear reduction starter is a great idea. I have one sitting here in the garage. Issue is the factory wont die, so starters are very tough but they do go...

How have you not replaced the battery cut off yet? I thought you suspected that being bad back toward the begining of the thread. Its easy to replace and cheap. Or just bypass and jump around it to see if that fixes it.

Amazing truck man. I love the light covers, wish i could stitch worth a **** i would make some but im affraid they would have more of hide in them than canvas.

Well i would test your gauge by blowing in it to make sure it registers anything at all. Then i would pull the boot from the turbo to intake and look for obstructions. I have had dobbers build on the compressor side of a truck that sat for years. Not saying that is your case but perhaps that...

It could be considered a collector but money value wise you arent sitting on a gold mine.
I just wouldnt want that much load on the hubs spaced out that far. Perhaps that is a moot point and the big rockwells wont care.
As for spacer material i want the biggest strongest chunk or metal possible at the weight of these trucks. And what most of us go out and do to them either hauling...
Indeed it is. He did not get a picture of the gnome that lives and works in there and assists with winch directional controls but perhaps he was being cleaned up in the parts washer.
I run 2" spacers on my little 1/2 ton reg cab chevy play truck and they do well. That said there is somthing about a 25,000 pound truck on long spacer studs doesnt sit well with me.
I like the idea of welding the spacer on the wheel flange. I like cutting the center out and dishing the wheel...
