I would probably say this needs to be in the 5 ton section.
That said you should be able to know if the front axle was digging or not. On our 925 i can see the front tires if turned to right or left lock and goose it in the slick stuff and see if the front tire slips.
Was the light on above...
I typically set my gun on a piece of card board for a good wide low pressure patern. And then i get familiar with the gun on small parts or wheels or chassis then move onto the good stuff that shows. Make sure to overlap the passes, i use about a 30% overlap of the previous pass. The tough parts...
No worries there sir he better pack his lunch if he decides to throw down over an internet post. If you ever find yourself in a fair fight you have failed.
On a serious note though.... We will agree to disagree. Im not going to condone a clueless owner or operator of vehicles this size its...
Heres my view. If he has to ask what the washer bottle is then what does he know about the truck? Its not personal and text can be harsh as it has no tone or inflections. These are big to HUGE trucks (916 falls into HUGE) they will do a ton of damage and injure people quick fast and in a hurry...
when we picked our truck up the driver seat cushions had been ate up and plenty of pooh around the cab. Sunglasses on pull up shirt over mouth and nose open all windows and flat footed the old girl on the highway.
The self cleaning feature was a selling point for me.
Do you know how wide you would be by just adding spacers between 2 non dually offset wheels? It can be done but that would insane.
You can throw dually back spaced wheels on, issue is single trucks have wide track or narrower i cant remember any more. Either way axle width are different.
Boy mine sure stalls quick fast and in a hurry under emergency braking. We had just got when a young gal almost pulled out in front of me doing 35 truck locked up and stalled. Wasnt a big issue stayed calm went to neutral restarted and put into gear went on my way. Also had a caged brake that i...
^^^^^^x2. Why not stop and do a proper diagnostic before rippin it apart?
Check the bats and charging system and fuel shut off. Then the starter, and its your truck man but i would sure scope the bores before i decided to just yank the heads just because maybe there might be something wrong...
You know i bet if someone invented some kind of a book or pdf file with every bit of info about a truck, like where things are how things work and how to diagnose known issue, they could make a lot of money.
You could call a technical manual. Maybe TM for short? Any way someone should invent...
Mine ride great too. No vibration or shaking.
IMO i want my truck inner city ready in case i need to go in to scavenge for supplies if the shtf. With these anti trump folks we may be on the brink of it any way lol.
Pcb is a protection against reverse polarity and volatge spikes in the system. Basically its deemed easier and or better to replace the box than the alt or starter.
Theres several threads on this site about its purpose and even a break down of its workings...
No you wont be able to use exsisting lugs... You couldnt find a plane old steel wheel? Its your trailer man and if you like them thats what matters not my taste in a wheel or military look but that doesnt matter if you like them.
Lol. OOOOOOPPPPSSS....That is not what i was expecting when you said battery disconnect switch. Perhaps i am alone on this but to me a battery disconnect and the main power are different things entirely. I was picturing in my head an after market type kill switch. My apologies. You can jump it...
Yeah thats the thing on these old trucks you have to be ready to learn and listen. There is no magic answer any of us can give that will make the truck start to run. There is an issue i assure you it is an easy fix and would take very little time to diagnose if the system is gone through in...
Once again i guess i dont follow your method of elimination at all. Why not just jump around the switch and bam it either works or doesnt and you KNOW it is either that or not.
Yep. Why not just jump around the kill switch? Wouldnt you sleep better at night if this was solved? Im someone who freaks out and will not sleep till i at least have diagnosed something.
