    Surplus Fluke 27/FM Multimeters

Usually they say not to post links or discuss active auctions. There's been turmoil in the past. Though I can't imagine a multimeter would cause much drama.

    Surplus Fluke 27/FM Multimeters

I'll have to look those up. Normally posting about active auctions is frowned upon.

    Dual 9.00 on bobbed m35a2

You can flip the rear hubs and run singles. There are several threads on here about flipping the hubs. It's not hard, it just takes a little time. You'll want to repack the wheel bearing, new seals, check your brake pads, cylinders, etc.

    Emergency flashers question.

There's a little button on the turn signal switch. Press it down and turn the lever toward the right turn position but farther. Like some older civi vehicles, the hazard lights stop flashing if you press the brake pedal.

    radiator paint

When I had my deuce radiator rebuilt they painted it gloss black. I gave it a very light spray on Gillespie flat black to dull it down a little.

gear lube inside wheel front axle.

I did my knuckle boots this past spring. It's an easy job. Just take your time to clean and regrease everything. It's also a good time to check your brake pads, wheel cylinders, wheel bearings, etc.

    Bobbing needs to begin

Of the bobbers I've seen some of the nicest had the stock bed shortened. I've seen some nice ones using 105 beds but the short stock bed usually looks the best. Especially is you keep the rear tires dualed.

    Botched Cargo Cover Repair

Our local tarp shop has a vinyl tape with adhesive on one side. Just clean the area around the hole. Cut the length you need and stick it on. It is very strong. For a pin hole I just use a piece on one side. For a larger hole or tear I use a piece on both sides. I can't remember the name of it...

    No brakes

Welcome from Kansas City, MO. Ditto. Use the search box to find the thread on making a power brake bleeder. It was done with a weed sprayer. Also download the tech manuals. They have the proper order for bleeding the brake system.

    Statistics on Deuce ownership

Tons and tons of M35A2's were sold from surplus. Some were bought by scrap yards, some by people who parted them out, some who drive them frequently and love them. I haven't seen a number for total surplussed and I doubt there will ever be an accurate number. I do agree seeing the numbers would...
