So far we have not gotten any "no I don't dare put any bumper markings"
How do I research D.O.D regulation or lack of? Maybe somebody to do it for a small fee?
I'm thinking that hydrodynamic thingy don't apply. If you look underneath there is what I call a crankcase tumor where all the oil resides. Much lower than the crank and connecting rods have to splash in. Thinking the entire engine is dependent on pressure. Not sure but some engines have...
I think the question is "How long do you want to run your engine with no oil pressure?" My answer NEVER!!. I cringe waiting for oil pressure on start up.Gota believe there are other nasty stuff going on running backwards. No dout if you don't get sudden death there are long term consequences.
This COULD be the scenario. Maybe the SC National Guard general noticed the markings as the truck passed him and remarked to the Marshall that wasn't his truck ,the truck had SC NG markings, being chemically enhanced the Marshall flew of the handle. As metioned earlier in talking to the general...
This is exactly what I was thinking while he was yelling and screaming. Was thinking he had a major parade to organize why is he taking what so much of the little time he had to this. There is something we don't understand about this guy very very bizarre behavior. My personal theory is that he...

Trying to find out how many out there do and do not have bumper unit markings on their vehicles.
I was given strong instruction when first starting a diesel that had IP or injector work to have the air intake readily accessible and a large rag to block intake should things go south.
I had a Detroit 8V71 that had a spring loaded flap above the blower to block intake air in case of a run-away. It was engaged by a dash mounted emergency push button. I heard that on a worn engine it could run on oil bypassing the rings.
We all know about the quality at R.R.D. or lack of. People looking for a classic VW beetle won't consider a Mexican built bug. The soviet built AK's where much better than the Chinese AK's. Perhaps the same applies to where MEPs are built.
When I have a long message I type it off line in something like MS Word then cut and paste it into the PM or posting. I'm thinking the system sees your typing as idle time and you timeout. I put the title in there also so it spell checks that as well as the rest of the stuff. This also helps if...
Did you notice the guys jumping out of that tree house on stilts? Been there done that :-). Some how I cut my ear open. They didn't appreciate me bleeding all over their equipment. But I digress.
The M944A1 has two drive-shafts between the transfer case and the middle diff. with a center/web bearing This is the closest I can find in the parts TM they are a singe drive shaft configuration :

I drive an Organizational level mobile tool box and Andy3 had to bring me some wenches when I lost my U joint. I second the motion for a permanent tool box.
