I wanted to try the Baja's but the MT/R's are more plentiful and easier to come by. I don't think either tire are that good in the snow but the MT/R's work nice in the mus and I'm happy with them so far.
No need to redeem yourself. It is most of the others in the other thread that could stand to do so. That was ridiculous And a friendly caution from someone else that seems to take a lot of wrath around here, be very careful about asking any questions that may have been covered elsewhere. 'Nuff...
behind the cover there are 10 millimeter bolts at the pivot where the post goes in. These bolts are for tension adjustment on the mirror post. (see picture)
Coming from a dealership background, I've seen too many burned out cars from parking on leaves or dead grass. It is a real concern on cars but maybe not so much on taller vehicles.
Love the Flowmaster sound on high performance cars and drag cars. Not sure how they'd sound on a diesel. Neither...
It's never too late to switch to the good life. I lived in the city for my first 35 years too. I paid my dues and so now I live out on a back road and I'm surrounded by dairy farm and woods. I hate even visits back to the "big city".
Don't you just love all of the flip answers making fun of you when you ask a serious question around here? Sometimes folks really ask because they want real answers from folks that have tried what they are considering, so they can make up their mind constructively.
Personally, I plan on going...
What he said. ^ ^ ^ Granted, these headlamps won't set the roadside brush on fire, but when working properly they are far from unsafe at night. Mine are acceptable at night as is, and when I use my hi beams, oncoming traffic instantly flash me. I'm happy with stock performance but will use...
Figured it was the rear from your previous description. Do you see any evidence of fluid leaks in the back side? for some reasun your brakes adjusted themselves tight on that wheel.
Agreed. I wouldn't want to wet sand the previous finish to a smooth texture when using house paint over it. Unlike an automotive finish, the house paint will be thick and forgiving anyway so why not leave something for it to bond to?
I would think you'd want the surface to remain a little more rough for a latex application to adhere to since unlike automotive paints, there are no solvents present to allow the paint to penetrate the original surface. I know I've run into issues in my house where the plaster was sanded too...
Bummer. Kind of shows you how latex enamel works on smooth metal surfaces. I've told this story before but I painted a car with it many years ago and a week later the temp dipped below freezing overnight and the paint froze. It peeled off in streamers on my drive to work. My next paint job on...
I am really interested in a home applied solid green over my makeshift camo job. However, I worry about the durability of latex house paint over metal. I've heard good things about the Sherwin Williams paint too. What are you guys using to apply the paint?
I'm considering using the regular CARC...
Hmmm. Couldn't find anything of Dodge plastic tank issues when I Googled. Could be that it was just too long ago, as you're talking a quarter century here. To each his own though, and I respect your opinion on tank material preference. Problem is, soon there will be no new vehicles WITHOUT a...
Very good advice. Personally, I HATE RUST. I'd rather deal with mechanical issues than fix rust. Wheel wells are not an issue as these are very common rust areas but frame and mounts are another story. The price is very low but if you have to spend a lot of time and money getting it presentable...
