The lift is not require if you have custom rims that set the tire further out, and 9 inches is more then you need when using Hemtt rims, I just choose to go that route with mine. I think 6 inches would clear but it would br close. If you use Hemtt rims and no lift your most likly going to have...
I thought Id post alittle info for the OP and just my personal experance with building a lifted Bobber.
I have almost finshed my M35A2 Bobber ( M109 ) with 53s so heres a few things that I learned.
I used the 105 trailer springs for this build. The truck has a custom 9 inch lift kit, which...
Removal is bad enough , for the re-install I'd consider going with fewer bolts that were a larger dia. to save on soem drilling. Duece frames are not hard but every once in a while you hit a spot thats just tougher then the others.
Why not use alittle paint to mark the holes and unbolt the side bolts and roll the axle ahead and back, that seems much easyer then tearing down the springs. If theres not an axle on it yet use the paint to mark the holes and just unbolt 1 end at a time and let it swing to the ground.
I find myself having the same troubles as may others I am working on installing a lift kit and need to remove it so a new steering arm can be installed. If I undertand this right the plug IS threaded and will need a tool to fit in the slot in order to screw the plug out and remove the drag...
Ive never been a fan of doing anything like everyone else but I would bet mine wont happen until spring as well. The weather is starting to turn here fast and I just started the front half of my 8 inch lift kit tonight. I hope to get the 16.00r20s and rims on the way next week. At least then I...
Thank for the idea guys, I think I will go with a flat non reflective black Base and a Dark Grey and a Light Grey for the colors. As for the pattern I might use the Merco or maybe a custom design, either way theres going to be some tapeign and cutting to get the desired effect.
Thanks again for the welcome guys, its amazing how many local people there are here or people who used to live around here. I have the truck bobbed and the back lift kit installed, just need to do the front. Thanks to everyone for sharing so much helpful info.
Guys I would like to do a urban type blackish / greys / maybe white combo paint job and I have been having a hard time finding much for pictures. This will be for my deuce bobber and was wondering if anyone had a picture of someones MV done in a black / grey camo?
Im just trying to find a...
Its an off road, if something breaks no big deal. Winch it on the trailer and haul it home. I dont see it passing DOT inspection in most states though...... ;)
If your a 07/02 FFL you will see that it is writen on you lic. that it doesnt cover DDs, however you can always form 1 a DD. BATF may allow you to do a DD or 2 under your lic but you will need to talk with them.
Most likly you will need a good machinist to reactive the gun. There are many...
To the OP, for what your talking about doing you had just as well buy an 1980s era 4 wheel drive tractor for 20-40k and do it like all the other hobby farmers, parts are cheap compare to modern farm equipment and the Horse Power is still there. From what I have gathered from your post I dont...
The Demil code is not going anywhere any time soon :(
Id love to have a H1 but for the money Ill stick with full size trucks that have Cummins motors.
As for the 6.2 /6.5 motors, "been there , walked back".
