Depending on your use of the tires and rims you could lighten the weight and run these to allow you to air all the way down and not have to worry about destroying the inside of the tire.

It is interesting reading this information... and it is amazing the different schools of thought/misinformation of why the HMMWV isn't allowed to be sold to the public. Having read some of the information on the topic recently I decided to ask the people at the DRMO.
I just back from Fort...
I agree with Barrman. Why take the chance and only end up having to spend more money replacing something? It only takes maybe 5 mins total time to drop the rear drive shaft and secure it under the vehicle. Don't be lazy and do it right the first time.
Great well thank you Dog head, Warthog and Eagle. It is appreciated and thank you DH for telling me how in the future I can find the pics so I don't have to ask a "newb" question.
Now...do you have any suggestions as to why the glow plugs keep failing on the M1008? Something I could...
When someone identifies it can a mod change the name to what it is? So that it will be searchable once identified. I looked thru numerous different glow plug/glow plug Resistor/glow card threads and didn't find any pics identifying it. Plus it doesn't help when you don't know the name of what...
I looked this Mog over when I was in New Castle picking up my CUCV. It looked barely used and I was even more impressed that it appeared to have all the tools with it. I proceeded to bid on it but it looks like you wanted it more than I did. Glad to see someone on here got it. What are your...
I am currently bidding on a lot in OK and was wondering if someone would be willing to pick up the item and ship it to me in VA? Willing to pay you for your time and shipping cost.
Thank you in advance.
I'm not sure why you are resistant to frame flex? Mercedes did amazingly well with the UNIMOG model and frame flex. Try to follow a stock unimog offroad in any stock or mildly modified vehicle and you'll see what I mean...well you might not because the MOG will quickly leave you in its tracks...
I don't believe the above statement is correct. I have titled 2 vehicles with SF-97's in VA since this was posted. However I have found a way around needing a SF-97 and giving GL more of my money to title in VA and have titled 2 other vehicles this way. If you are interested and live in VA PM...
Have you checked your glow plugs with a multimeter yet? I would remove each one and check it with a multimeter. This guarantees all your glow plugs are good and will eliminate another variable.
Looks like a great cover with a lifetime warranty. I'm getting ready to order one for the 60 and 14 bolt as we speak. I will report back with opinions. Also found this "diff cover shootout"... http://www.fourwheeler.com/how-to/transmission-drivetrain/154-0708-bulletproof-test/photo-gallery/
Just so you know...This actually isn't 100% correct. You can run other liquids as a fuel if you pay the "road tax" on them. Some states have a fuel blenders license where you pay the road tax on the fuel you are running. The amount you pay is directly related to the amount of fuel you use...
Alright guys so I called the truckcenterdotcom number I found on their website and they gave me this number 602-448-9533. I spoke with Lisa and she helped me set up a time to pickup on 9-18-13. They even gave me a extra week for the pickup since they apparently have a auction on the 9-11-13...
The title would have the previous sellers info in the line for the "seller" and his info for in the line for the "buyer". Which would then mean he would have to get a new title so that his name could be on the seller line and then your name could be on the buyer line. Then when you take it to...
