What did you do to your deuce this week?

I don't want to drive mine that far, let alone tow another truck behind, with a trailer! :not worthy:

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yep, I use it all the time. I've seen copper colored versions (I assume they have copper in them), but have only used the silver colored version. I get it at my local AutoZone, etc.

    M35A2 stencil markings help

I just dug through some of the ones I've got printed out to find it. Also check out TB 43-0147. I can't seem to find a link right now, but I probably found it somewhere on this site. Edit: Comes right up in Google.

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Yours and the M37 are the best looking of the ones pictured. I may be a bit biased though.rofl

    Uses for Deuces

That's a good bit of weight! According to Google, 2600 - 3000 lbs/yard. How did the truck feel hauling it?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Maybe the slobber tube? Or a hole in the J-pipe (mine was rusted through badly when I bought it)?

    Making Deuce's bed stakes

    This may help some: http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?67694-Cargo-bows&p=813831&viewfull=1#post813831

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Cool video! Is that made with a setting on the camera, or in a computer program?

What did you do to your deuce this week?

Finally finished up the bodywork/base color paint today! Painted the bed ~4 years ago, and then had to replace some rust on the cab/fenders before I could paint the rest. I'd ultimately like to do one more sand/paint (probably next summer) to hide some of the runs, fix a few dings from...

    Check your front wheel studs

I know, old thread, but I figured we could use a reminder... I noticed one of my front lugnuts was loose when doing some bodywork. I put the socket on to tighten it, and the stud broke off from the weight of the socket/breaker bar. Thankfully I was parked in the driveway when it came off! Just...

    sheet metal specs

For anyone searching for information on the replacement rocker panels: I contacted Memphis about them, and received this reply: The G744ZP will fit your M35A2. The rocker panel we stock was made from a original sample so there should be no problem for it to work on your M35A2. And just in...

    sheet metal specs

Thanks for the link! I assume they fit well? 18gauge? I'm in need of a pair of rockers, and those should save a ton of effort.

Total brake failure during a panic stop

I dug through my receipts for you. I apologize if I've omitted something, or if I have included unnecessary items, as I was doing my front axle boots at the same time. I purchased parts with multiple purchases from multiple sources, so this MAY or MAY NOT be ACCURATE with prices you find now...

Total brake failure during a panic stop

My incident was not nearly as tense as Kaiserjeeps, but I did lose my brakes one morning when I was going to take my deuce to work. Luckily I was still in the driveway when a line blew (I believe it was a rear hard line). I had owned it for 2.5 years after it sat for an unknown time with the...

    Deuce rust locations

Mine's got it on the rockers, front of the hood, and some on the seam on the back of the front fenders. Oh, and I replaced the exhaust J pipe when I bought it due to rust. What gauge metal are these built from? 18?

Thinking about buying an M105 in PA

Promised to give an update: Went to look at them earlier this week. I decided that the best M105 had too much metal that needed to be replaced to make it a worthwhile purchase, and the two others were even worse than that. They were even kind enough to let me pull the wheels to see if I could...

Thinking about buying an M105 in PA

Ok, that makes sense. I'm just north of Pittsburgh. So the owner has informed me that they'd be willing to get the title into their name and transfer it to mine if I'm willing to pay the associated costs. Depending on how much that costs, that's good news. He also stated that he has other...

Thinking about buying an M105 in PA

That's a lot closer, haha. Howdy! Ok, I'll see if he's willing to do it, after I look at it. If not, I'll walk away.
