Thinking about buying an M105 in PA

Thank you. And kind of distant, but howdy, neighbor! Got it. Thanks guys for the information. I'll update if everything works out and I end up buying it.

Thinking about buying an M105 in PA

I found this trailer on the local Craigslist: The seller says it is an M105, and I was hoping someone could confirm that from the picture, since the intended use is behind my deuce. I haven't actually gone to look at it yet because I've been trying to search the internet for more...

    Longer wheel studs

RCCollin, whether or not you decide to convert to all right-hand, if you have any concerns about them backing off, you can put a line, as already stated, or you can look into lugnut safety arrows: I know, not very Deuce-like, but you can know at a glance if any of your nuts have turned at all...

    2nd alternator, 12V

This is exactly how I wired my license plate lights and how I will wire my "reverse" lights, when I add them.

Was just reading about that recently. Have you seen this? http://www.steelsoldiers.com/showthread.php?78640-stuck-in-full-throttle-multi

Deuce tail roller and bed winch, skid loading setup

Nice engineering! Looks like it'll pickup that shelter just fine

    PA - Military vehicle registration....

Tons of good info/discussion here! Thanks to all who have contacted the authorities to help sort it out! I did not want the cargo or amount of use restrictions on my Deuce, since I interpreted it as any cargo at all (and I'll get the occasional load of firewood), so I registered it as a normal...

    MY Airpack Rebuild with Photos!

A NOS MC I installed did exactly that, so I rebuild the old one and re-installed it. It's returning quickly and completely. Thanks for the idea

    MY Airpack Rebuild with Photos!

Which part was this? The seal that some manuals had wrong? I'm pretty sure I got that one in right.. I just rebuilt my master cylinder and air pack, since I was redoing all of the brake lines. Neither really needed it, but I didn't know that until I opened them, and then decided to rebuild...

Behr Paint Jobs- Show me your MV's

Assuming the colorants and base strengths didn't change**, you are 100% correct, the formula can just be manually entered. **Note that these things are very unlikely to change, especially without some big budget advertising to announce it.

Front axle seals and boots stepXstep

Alright, good to know, thanks! I just assumed there was a gasket, since I took gaskets out of there.

Front axle seals and boots stepXstep

I may have found a source for the washers: Redbarncustoms.net. I'm going to hopefully call them tomorrow. I can't seem to find the knuckle to spindle gaskets now either. I'm going to ask red barn when I call. Otherwise, I may just end up using RTV.

Front axle seals and boots stepXstep

I'm in the middle of replacing the seals and boots and wheel cylinders on my front axle. This writeup has been AWESOME! Thank you! Everything has been going well, and exactly as described in the directions. However, when I started cleaning everything up, I noticed 3 things: 1) I forgot to buy...

    Front running lights M35a2 ??

Find that switch. Lift the bottom right, and while holding that up, turn the top to the right. That's what the previous owner is telling you. That's how you turn on your lights.

Overhaul questions/ FDC bypass at Tooele? Always?

No idea. Though I suppose you could figure it out if you knew the pitch of the threads... Anyhow, I moved mine 4 flats, because that has me just touching 1100° on long grades with my foot in it.

Overhaul questions/ FDC bypass at Tooele? Always?

Thanks for all the information!. I just completed it this morning. I used McMaster Carr's 5033K33 Tubing and 50815K106 nuts (based on this post) to replace the fuel line between the secondaries and the HH.

    LD-465-1C and FDC Question

Thank you so much! These nuts worked perfectly!

Overhaul questions/ FDC bypass at Tooele? Always?

I know, old thread.. sorry. I just wanted to confirm that all of the threads for the fuel line connections are 1/4" and 1/8" NPT. Is that correct? I ask because I plan to do the bypass and replace the line from the fuel filters to the HH, with new line and nuts/ferrules. But when I test...

    Uses for Deuces

Is that a liftgate?! I've recently (half)joked that I should put one on mine. That's cool!
