And guys, belly fat specifically is dangerous for the heart and your life.
Weight is a ratio: Calories in vs Calories out. Of course, real life ain't that simple. I know that. But hope if you like to lighten up a bit you consider the advantages to dropping weight. The hardest part is starting...
Well, it's hard to diagnose from a distance. And I'm sorry, but I can't pinpoint where the leak is coming from. Can you identify the fuel filter and base? Can you see fuel dripping from the bottom of it? Or put your hand underneath it and see if there's residual fuel there? I know those units...
Hey man. You need an attitude adjustment. He was trying to be helpful, not critical. And as for your threat to deliberately tear up ground, that's exactly the kind of behavior and mentality MV owners are trying to stay away from. It puts the entire hobby at risk. It also is totally inconsistent...
AHA! I got ten cents and a cup of coffee that says whatever may or may not be going on with your injector pump, the fuel filter and or, the fuel filter base is leaking. Very common. Especially on trucks that have sat. Both are readily available and not terribly expensive... If you've got a new...
Is the fuel puddle under the passenger side or driver's side or right in the middle? My M1009 sat for a long time as well, and when vehicles sit, gaskets and seals dry and shrink. I always recommend do the easy, inexpensive stuff first. The injector pump R&R is a PITA...
There's no such thing as a "standard" CUCV winch. Many of us have seen the photos of CUCVs with winches mounted on them by the military, but they appear to be limited, special-purpose applications. And to my eye, I've seen civilian done versions that look much neater... I don't know what make or...
Absolutely do the easy stuff first. As Kassim said, clean pick up. And also check hoses and gaskets on the pumps for leaks. Had to do that with mine... If its clicking, it's probably "trying" to pump...
I ripped this off the internet somewhere for personal reference, so duly note it does not belong to me and I credit whoever owns it (maybe an SSer!)! It does give some idea how those brackets were used... I believe this is for an MP rig... Again, my apologies to whoever owns this...
Well, I'd be very surprised if it was a 700R4. I doubt the military would do such a modification. Possible perhaps, but not likely. It is not a trivial thing at all. There is another possibility that somehow a 700R4 got tossed into the back, but that seems unlikely also. Modulator is a metallic...
I have the Cibie equivalent of the Hellas. Run 60/55 watters in them. I love 'em. I'd like to upgrade to the 100/80s but I'd have to put a relay and extra wiring in and probably won't go to the trouble.
(Note I am converted to pure 12v) I mounted my 3000 watt inverter under the passenger seat on my M1009, relocating the jack and lug wrench. I ran power to it from the blocks on the passenger side wall of the backseat area. I have it oriented with outlets facing the door. Used it during a...
You are correct. And the TMs DO NOT call for additive. I only put it in after strong recommendations from this board, knowing it would, at worst, do no harm... The unit is working great. Like you I doubt if the additive is doing much except possibly increasing the longevity of the fluid...
