RE: cleaning with kerosene not recomended Best way to do this is like M52a2 say and disconnect the driveshafts at the transfer case and engage it so there is no load on the gears. Now I dont know about kerosene but I use diesel and if its really REALLY dirty I add a little dawn dishwashing soap.

Thats what I'm looking for! Something with a single bulb or something so that I can gut the receptacle of each fender mounted turn signal and install one of those clearance lights without the lens. The turn signals on the fender have cone shaped lenses and for the sake of keeping things original...

I would acually opt for thos or if they just sold the lens and it fit then I'd use my old buckets. I really wanted to get away from the incandescent bulbs because they just dont seem to pierce the darkness in rain and stormy weather like the LED's do and this truck will get allot of roadtime...

Ah, I see where I will run into problems with this now :? I know what you mean about the angle of the lights now, I recall overhearing something about this concerning these bulbs froma customer that was purchasing them at AutoZone. Would they make good headlights though?????
