Also when you get done be sure to coat everything with a good amount of dielectric grease to seal stuff out. I dont' know what kind of humidity you have where you are but here in LA I coat everything electrical with this. Did my whole pickup trucks electrical connections when it was new, etc...
Gotcha boss! 8) So do I need to look into finding a resistor to wire into them? If so would you have an idea of what voltage? As it they are now, it's 12V to the socket, would this resistor help with with the brights?
Do you reckon they will work on a positive ground system too? Hmmmm :?
Actually this is just about what I paid for my newest toy to be shipped from Bremerhaven, Germany to the port of Houston, TX. Allot more ocean miles there.
Depends on who you use, if you use a dedicated auto transporter like Wallenius Lines then you get to pay those dedicated prices. If you use a common freight/shipping service and have it shipped Ro-Ro and also shop arund and make the company's compete then you stand to save a buck or couple...
Re: RE: Have any of y
So have they been fairly reliable David or have they ever given you any trouble?
These are an almost exact overall size to size match to the original Czech lights I have now so it would be a perfect swap! 8)
Sweet I remember when you first posted that conversion Bjorn. What is the purpose of the circuit board in the back though? I don't seem to recall seeing one of these when I last handled those LED's from Harbor Frieght????
I also did some digging around at AutoZone today and found these bulbs...
RE: Have any of y
Nah you may just not specialize in that area, thats all! Thanks for the reply and I hate those super bright lights too! I think the projector beams are what you mean cause Halogens are often times OEM equipment. I in fact had one of those little speed racer rice...

I'm thinking about scrapping the originals because it seems no amount of buffing or polishing with Brasso will clear them up and also because LED is so much brighter and when I'm running the roads during hurricanes God...
SsgtWright, I think so too and I think it could still be the cause even though he stated the above. Sometimes that crack(s) arent as visually tell tale as folks may seem and allot of times it is the steering box that is holding the cracked rail together. Keep the wheels straight and dont put it...
I seem to recall in my 4X4 days that these older Chevy/GM frames were weak around the steering box and were prone to cracking. I only ran 70's Fords so I dont have any first hand experience with this but my buddies had Blazers and Cheyenne pickups and I seem to recall that the precurser to...
That sucks Joe...:(
I now live in Branch, LA 32 miles from Lafayette but I work in Lafayette and stay at my parents home sometimes during my work week to save on fuel. Their place is off verot school and I work over here off corporate blvd at the Halliburton corporate office. We need to meet...
Sweet! I am totally new to these kind of filters but I like the ingenuity of them and surely like the fact that it requires no consumable parts. I'd like to keep it if possible.
So where does this mount on the XM757???? Is this in the cab somewhere handy?
Looks like I will be experimenting...
Can anyone chime in with information about grafting turbos onto naturally-aspirated engines? I dont know if its possible but if it would be worth it power wise I'd like to put this extra D turbo I have sitting around to use.
Is there any danger to doing this? The engine only has 300km on it so...
