I've got 14.50's on the stock rims and they work well together,mounted them myself,kind of a pain but doable.Got the tires from Mark Riddle(100dollarman),he lurks around here from time to time.
I've tried LOGSA and could'nt get on,besides I did'nt think that the ten or twelve bucks was'nt that big of a deal other than the fact that it equates to a twelve pack of beer!
I had at one time two A-5's,loved them both and as what is usuall for me I wish that I had never got rid of them.They are a snap to work on and very fun to drive around.The kids loved them too!
I'm going to second that.Useing John's spin-ons will not only give you that warm fuzzy every time you hit the starter button,but will add longevity to your engine.The ease of change is an added bonus.Secondaries too!
I got lucky as the gasket that was on the blind plate on the tranny was a thick one and when I removed it the gasket stayed in place perfectly,that was cool,then I screwed in the studs and hung the PTO.Everything bolted up as it should,with the help of an Mac 1/2" impact.
Just finnished up my winch installation and thought I'd share a few pics.The winch and PTO were rebuilt at Toole in 91',according to the data plates on both, and probably never used since as the cable looked to have never been unspooled.Did the install by myself in less than a day.I reused all...
