There is a bolt on top of the filter housing that you must loosen, it is under the generator, Dont spin the housing, you may ruin the gasket.
Remove the can by loosening the bolt , and reinstall by tightening the bolt!

I live a couple of miles from a state park where camping is permited, Last year a 90Ft sycamore came down on a tent with a young family inside . The young father was killed instantly and his wife was pinned for about 45 minutes.
There three young children escaped...
I had one on my 5 ton and it always did the same thing, So i went back to stock stack configuration, and put a coffeee can lid on the end of the stack.

If i remember correctly, I measured up two inches from the floor board and made a mark on the clutch pedal shaft.
That is how much free travel you should have in the pedal.....

That little cork in the keyway will get you every time, i use rubberized cork and have never had any more leaks, i ussually cut two and push em in with the outer seal.
I have a PU 794 /G (modified mep004) when the batteries on mine dropped below 24 volts the fuel pump doesnt run.... found that out in a major power outage , when my alternator crapped out....
I've had that happen once to me also, cant explain it though. Lucky enough i had a couple bad ones laying around so i changed the front housing.
I also remember sending the other good one i had Dogheads way, so i guess it happens to the best of us.....
I drove MY M813A1 to FT Drum and back last june, I averaged about 45 - 50 MPH, and my fuel milage calculated out to 7.3 MPG.
It was about 340 miles each way, and that really is enough seat time for one day.
