I flushed and changed the transmission fluid and filters today on the A3. Mine was pretty easy as my truck already had ATF in it instead of 15W40 oil so that was nice. I still did two flushes as the fluid looked pretty old. I thought I screwed up the truck for a minute. I removed the...
My M1009 is my daily driver. I love it, very reliable and gets about 20 mpgs. I've put 30,000 miles on mine since I bought it 3 and a half years ago. I've been to Montana twice with it and took a trip to Arizona in it with no problems.
Recent pic of it with a 3'' lift, 33'' tires and winch...
Had my new tire mounted the other day. Changed the oil and filters and greased everything. The deuce sure has a lot of grease fittings:shock:. Went through 4 tubes of grease. The oil filter must have been installed by Private Armstrong, sucker was tight. Broke two of my oil filter wrenches...

Removed the cover today and it reminded me i'm not 20 yrs old anymore:cry:. **** thing is heavy.
What are these hoses for? I think they are for a vent of some sort because the smaller comes out of the fuel tank. The larger one goes underneath into a tee but I did not follow it all the way.
DevRev: Yes, when you finally get one. Check it over real good. Especially the brakes. You don't want a 14,000 lb truck to run away on you and run over a Prius. Make sure you give yourself a wide berth. A deuce is a pretty big truck. Plan your stops early and drive carefully. Most importantly...
