318 acting like it's not getting enough fuel

How is the ignition system? I had an 88 W250 with a 360 that displayed similar symptoms and it ended up being the coil.

    Brakes

When I was in the Navy we had a saying that applied to equipment on board the ship and which applies to the brake system of the Deuce as well, or any other piece of equipment for that matter....."It Works Fines And Lasts A Long Time With Proper Care and Maintenance." Do the PMs and she will...

A company called Athey used to make 2 track versions for use in the logging industry. I am sure they were used in other industries as well.

Cooper Discoverer ATR - Good or Bad

I am biased toward American products and Coopers are made in the USA. I have been running Cooper ATRs on my wife's grand cherokee for 2 years & 30k miles with no issues. I have been buying Cooper tires for the various 4X4 pickup trucks I have owned for more than 15 years and I do not have any...

    M35A2 un-insurable

My 86 AM General M35A2 is insured with State Farm as well and I don't have to store it inside or only drive it in parades etc. I was with Gulfway, but there were too many restrictions on how I could use the truck.

Personal modifications- make my life easier

The A frame and the crane in the bed are slick. [thumbzup] Can you post more details/specs on both? I now have more free time and less money than I had when I worked for a fortune 100 company and I am currently self-employed, but I would still like to have an A frame setup like yours.

    M35A2C - Parade Ready

Yes they did...The main thing I like about them is I can run at 55 MPH without running up against redline. You can get more info by reading the post at the link below. http://www.steelsoldiers.com/deuce-modification-hot-rodding/37903-finally-got-my-11-00-20rs-mounted.html Of course she...

    While the radiator is off...

I just replaced my upper and lower radiator hoses as part of my cooling system PM and the upper hose I got from NAPA was P/N 613 which is a 2" ID hose per their specs. See the link below. Store Locator | NAPA Online

What is the level of the fluid in the master cylinder and are there any signs of leakage around the backing plates, inner sidewalls or wheels?

    M35A2C - Parade Ready

Update - We were notified today that our truck won 1st place in the parade for the antique/classic category. There were some pretty nice looking cars and trucks in the competition, but I guess the judges had temporary bout of the OD fever.

    M35A2C - Parade Ready

mcmullag - I followed Wil Wagner's lead and made a flag mount which is comprised (2) EMT beam clamps, a 3/4" section of EMT for the mount and a 1/2" length of EMT for the flag pole. See the pics in post # 8 at the link below...

    M35A2C - Parade Ready

It was decided at the last minute to run the deuce in the local parade, so here are some pics of the truck flying a U. S. flag that was carried by my youngest son when he was flying missions in chopper over Iraq earler this year.
