Does the boom on an M936 wrecker rotate 360 degrees? I was looking through the TM and it says to use the vehicle boom to remove the spare tire. Looking for some information on this.
thanks
Also they are referring to the Gross vehicle weight, what the vehicle is capable of carrying, not the empty weight. Using the empty weight only can get you into problems.
This is how I do it.
Before I take any of the transmission to engine bolts loose I remove the 4 or is it 6? bolts on the torque converter and slide it back into the transmission.
Those are 39" tall, so you would drop your 5th wheel height almost 5 inches and move the tire 5 inches away from the gear. let me know if you want any help on this
I have a M931 with the 11.00 x 20's that are a bit smaller then the 14.00 x20. 43" vs 48" You might be better off to just put a set of duals on the truck for your purposes.
those 14.00 x 20 tires are going to be a problem with hitting your landing gear of your trailer. It might look ok if you are straight but as soon as you make any type of sharp turn you will be tearing up your tires.
