i got it for $720, it needs rust repair on all the lower panels, and it has a ton of civilian parts on it though.

[thumbzup] Got two new m1009's this week. The white one was driven 450 miles home. Little bit of rot on it that will be welded up. The other had the "usual rust" according to the seller, :wink: and had to be towbarred about 90 miles home.

1400 miles now that's a road trip! Check the threads about deuce recovery and how to bleed brakes. They are tough trucks you will do okay.

Having worked for propane companies and have had converted many trucks to propane there is no internal changes on gasoline engines required for propane. Years ago when valve seats were soft for leaded gas we had to have hardened valve seats installed but with no-lead being the norm engines come...
