After looking at the new rally site I am stoked. It is so close to I-89 with a restaurant/bar next door, tons of parking all on flat ground and a place for a trail ride. :-P

Got two new m1009's this week. The white one was driven 450 miles home. Little bit of rot on it that will be welded up.
The other had the "usual rust" according to the seller, :wink: and had to be towbarred about 90 miles home.
He is a good guy just a little ruff around the edges and he is fun sometimes. Remember he is just saying what all the other GL employees are just thinking.

Having worked for propane companies and have had converted many trucks to propane there is no internal changes on gasoline engines required for propane. Years ago when valve seats were soft for leaded gas we had to have hardened valve seats installed but with no-lead being the norm engines come...
I just bought a winch truck and removed all of the parts and now I am selling what remains a really nice non winch truck for a little more than I paid. The swap took a week and works great. Good luck with the rest of your project.
I looked at this one, it ran fine but the body was a mess. Maybe remove the van and put on a long cargo bed. 14 grand is a better price than 28 and it was 11 years newer.
