I think you misunderstood me. I did the resistor bypass mod the day AFTER it burned up.

Did the GP resistor bypass today. Started the truck yesterday and during the glow plug cycle a bunch of smoke came out from under the hood:shock: Yep fried resistor.

Replaced the windshield wiper motor. I have working washers now!

I had the same problem. Turned out to be a problem with one of the lights, so I replaced with another one and it works fine
