Get a compression tester and verify good compression on all cylinders. Without a test of compression you just don't know what is going on in the cylinder.

How are you getting the truck? Shipped? Why do you ask about the axle fluid? I would think it would have been changed during the build.
The bolts that hold the motor together. You can't see them on the direct drive. Both starters bolt to the block the same way but the support bracket is different.
