We also have a 300 gallon fresh oil tank at work and a waste oil tank. The same company brings the fresh and...

    Brake Bleeding

To remove the rear inner wheel from the hub requires a Budd socket to turn the thimble. Remember that the lugs on the left side of the truck should be left hand thread. I say should because one of my trucks came out of the NG with left hand nuts on the right! Good thing we looked close before...

Get a compression tester and verify good compression on all cylinders. Without a test of compression you just don't know what is going on in the cylinder.

    Rear Mounted Intake??? Why?

I am friends with them on facebook. https://www.facebook.com/FloridaMilitarySurplus How are you getting the truck? Shipped? Why do you ask about the axle fluid? I would think it would have been changed during the build.

    Starter killing flywheel

The bolts that hold the motor together. You can't see them on the direct drive. Both starters bolt to the block the same way but the support bracket is different.

    Starter killing flywheel

Not bad. The one in your pics is a gear drive. The thru bolts are on the outside of the gear reduction and the inside of the old school direct drive.

    Starter killing flywheel

What did the starter cost you? I got one $103 shipped to the house.
  19. phil2968

    Starter killing flywheel

Yup, I don't think the bracket for the direct drive is available new anymore.
