I had mine picked up by a rollback tow truck. I have used the Uhaul trailer and it just barely fit and I wouldn't take it long distances. Make sure you get the uhaul like in the picture, they have an older version with a red steel frame that is smaller and the truck wont fit.
Thats correct, only two of the tabs are supposed to be used at a time. Also make sure that the lock washer has black paint on some of the tabs, AMG lock washers have paint and the cheap copies don't and can shear.
Thanks for the picture, I just got one off ebay. Are you sure that the proper sending unit for that gauge is black, from what I've seen its supposed to have a gray boot.

Comparing the gray boot sender with the black boot...
I think it has some filter element in it to keep debris out, but I don't really know. part number 12339208 shows its actually only the fuel tank vent, and isn't attached to anything else
Very nice, yours looks almost just like mine 8-)
If those are the stock aluminum brackets for the light bar you might want to replace them with something made of steel or a thicker piece, the thin aluminum cracks and can break from the vibrations.
How bad was it to upgrade the steering wheel? I've been thinking about it because my stock wheel is kinda chewed up but I don't think its worth cutting or welding the steering column if I would have too.
I think that not only would it be more difficult to to wire those lights as reverse light, but they also wouldn't be that bright being that its only a couple led's and they are behind the lense.
I don't care about vintage, I'm all about usefulness. Light bar, sun visors, led dash bulbs, upgraded seats, better headlights. I'm also thinking about buying some 1/2" rubber mats and lining the back to protect the bed.
Is that an f150? I know with my dads f350 dually you could definitely tell the hummer was back there on the uhaul trailer. Looks like you have your work cut out for you haha
The local lowes should be doing real fine with the amount of bolts and spray paint I have bought from them, they are the only close source for stainless and metric.
Cant find what that little asterisk means though. As far as I can find all the auctions still say no title will be issued. There are going to be a ton of pissed people....
These are the part numbers I used:
Long hose from the overflow bottle - 12339163
radiator hose at front of truck - 22649
upper radiator hose - 12339160
