OK guys. I got a factory M35A3 hydraulic motor. I also got a coupler for the motor and the winch. I just have to drill a hole in it for the shear pin.
So I think i have found a lever valve for it. it is for 18 GPM, 3000 PSI max. and a relief valve built in for 1500 PSI.
The question...
Your M1 might be worth more then $700 depending on what it is, where it came from, manufacture and condition. Was the rifle imported. It would have a stamp on the barrel if so. I would do a little more research on your rifle so you don't get hosed on that. there are a few sites you could...
1. does the van have two batteries in parallel?
2. does the blazer have two batteries in parallel?
3. is the slave connection hooked up for 12 volts on both the van and the blazer?
if the above is all true then yes it will work
the stock system has a 10 gal tank on it. I am guessing this reason is to make sure the oil doesn't get too hot. I am looking at a 10-12 gallon tank for my system.
I want the winch to work when i pull the level also. I have some time to get the parts. I can wait 6 months or better. I am trying to track down the sources for the parts.
I have the winch and the pump
I need the following
a motor
the adapter
the coupling
the valves (either a manual spool...
I understand that stock army isn't the only option. But at the same time, i might be able to find the stock army parts.
Bob i value your input on my project here.
I have posted the specs I could find on the stock pump. I am trying to track down the stock motor as well. You guys have posted the stock motor specs on this thread already. I was thinking that i should try and match the stock specs.
I would like to be able to keep the stock specs the...
the pump specs are
GPM 13 @1000RPM
Max RPM 3000
Inlet Port Sixe 1"
Rotation Counterclockwise
Max Pressure 3500PSI
shaft size 3/4 11 SPL
Outlet Port size 1" STR THD
What about a solid steel coupler?
I was looking at some grade 80 stainless steel pipe. I could get the 1-1/4 ID and get it cut for a 5/16" key way. Then just drill it for the shear pin on the winch.
I am pretty sure the shaft to drive the winch is 1-1/4" can anyone confirm this?
That is what i was thinking. I will probably end up making my own mount and then my own coupling. I will get pics after I get the parts drawn up and made.
First I need to buy the motor.
