I asked if he could give me his phone number so we could talk and I asked him if he was selling the vehicle in the pictures. If he responds, I'll take it from there and have some fun with him. I'll pretend to Western Union him the deposit, use a fake code etc.

In one city nearby when I am out driving my Scorpion tank they just wave. Here in Redmond they all seem to look, slow a bit, and then drive some other direction. Only one Officer tried a blocking manuver on the tank . . . when it was unoccupied and parked at a car show. :roll:

I've only had about 13-15,000 in the 656 and although it took a bit longer to 60 mph, it took all the freeway hills at that speed. Until we bought the HEMTT, we had no intention of selling the 656, it was the vehicle that always ran and never let us down. We were goin add the expandable van...

210 hp in a 15,000 vehicle, and my HEMTT has 445hp in a 39,000 lb vehicle. The M656 goes pretty good for a 40 year old.

Mine gets better mileage than any of my other toys. I do have 385R85-20 tires on it so it cruises over 60 easily. The brakes on mine work very well, perhaps you just had a lemon? I think mine will outrun the HEMTT both truck being empty up to 60-65 anyway. They called it the "Mover" and...

If anyone wants it's predecessor a M656 8x8 amphibious Ford, please let me know. It is probably the best unrestored one out in the wild. I have that and nice Gama Goat with S250 shelter, arctic top cab, as well as several Alvis Stalwarts with spares, up for sale in the near future.

Thanks guys, I do intend to keep it pristine, we don't take any of our MV's off road except for grass. If I wanted to go off road I still have a '93 Hummer. Regarding the avitar, my Scorpion is still my prized toy. Every time I drive the HEMTT, it moves up the list so who knows where it will...
