I am missing the box that houses the remote control on my MK17. Does anyone have an idea where I might be able to find one? Any assistance is greatly appreciated.
Thanks
Ryan
I mounted the ring legs direct metal to metal. You don't want any cushion or the ring will not be solid. Here is the list of hardware.
Front leg mounts
4) 3/8 x 1
4) 3/8 x 4.5
Cross brace
4) 5/16 x 1
Rear leg
4) 1/2 x 1.5
Ring to legs
16) 1/2 x 2
All bolts are grade 8.
The cross brace is...
I will get you some measurements tommorow.it is just a epic of channel that fits behind the tab on the left side and goes to the top of the other leg. It is bevel cut to match the angle of the legs and has two 5/16 bolts in each end. It will be very easy to reproduce.

The TM's have a list of every part and which compartment it goes in. Mine and all the others I have driven run about the same temp with the high end being up around 220. I will keep my eyes open for a cap.
If anyone is still in need of a lvs ring mount, shoot me a PM. I have a lead on a couple but no hatches at the moment. There is a possability we might be able to come up with a hatch in a couple weeks.

Yes the tire is on the rear. So I don't have to bypass any valves to just air the tires up with outh the ctis. I will probably mount the spare just to be safe and disassemble the flat one to make sure there is not structural damage inside.
I just bought a m923a2 and wanted to figure out what it takes to bypass the ctis at the wheels. I have to go do a recovery next week and the truck has a flat tire. I want to make sure I have the tools and parts to bypass the system if I need to.
Thanks

I ordered a pp3 bendix hopefully it is right. The pp7 seemed to be for a balanced system which I don't know how it works. It seems to take air in on two ports instead of one on the pp3
I am trying to replace the valve for charging the trailer brakes. I bought a pp7 bendix valve and it does. Not seem to be right. The number in the TM does not match any bendix or civilian numbers. Has anyone replaced that valve and what part number did you use?
Thanks
Ryan
Several people have taken the test in 900 series trucks here and passed. And yes I will have a restriction for auto only till I take the F750 Manual trans down retake the test and have that restriction removed
Okay with a full charge when I pull the valve it takes about 2-3 seconds for the brakes to apply. It is now starting to work better. I put some oil in the glad hands and actuated the trolley valve many times. If I pump the brakes hard and wait a few seconds in between pumps the valve is popping...
The valve is supposed to pop between 45-20 psi. I pump the brakes to 0psi and the valve does not pop (yesterday it did). I then go pull the emergency glad hand which should have no pressure and it releases a large surge of air and the valve then pops out. For some reason the trailer is not...
My tractor and trailer is giving me grey hairs fast. I am trying to go for my class A on Thursday and I am having problems with my trailer. Here is what it is doing. When I do my test in cab to lower the air pressure the trailer brakes never pop out. The air pressure on primary and secondary...
Okay I found some info I will share with others for problems in the future. The clutch is made by Evans and is Model # FC367E. Comfort Air in Michigan has the parts to rebuild them http://comfortairgr.com. Also comfort Air has a pdf on their site with a manual for rebuilding the clutch as well...
