We trained on the M353 when I was in Motor Transport School in Missouri. The instructors told me it was a generator trailer. I spent at least two weeks working with them, and I had this novel idea of adapting it with a wood deck for hauling a M274 Mule, or possibly motorcycles.

I've cleaned a few pints of gear oil and tossed it in. It might add to the stinky, but in small doses its not a problem. If you start running large quantities, is the time to worry. The fuel then would be much thicker and harder on the parts that pump it, at that point.
I worry about just pooring crap into my tank... or about "carrying spare filters" because fuel shouldn't be so dirty that it causes extra work. Or my truck to stop working! Rather than running crap in my 5 ton, I'd prefer to filter the crap out first before putting it in my baby. I first...
Thanks to email, I was able to get the EUC corrected and back to them pronto!
It's now sent off to Battle Creek, and I guess the waiting starts.
+60 days puts us in July, and since I don't have drill that month, I'm going to keep my fingers crossed!
I'll probably be in the area at that time on a Road Trip, but I'll only have my M116A2... and there's gunna be stuff on it.
Is Jack Tomlin in that group? He's got some NICE toys! [thumbzup]
Not my first time bidding on GL, but if i win, it will be my first GL win!
Thanks for the 60 days heads up. I think that'll save my rear in this auction. PLus it'll give me time to get my HMV insurance paperwork all set for the pick up.
Yeah that's the thing... I'm planning a road trip vacation from the 18th to the 28th, so I'm REALLY hoping I don't have to pick up the trailer 10 days from the 14th or something crazy like that. If it gets delayed i'll be happy... otherwise, It'd ruin our little vacation! :-?
I'm bidding on a trailer, and I'm wondering when I will have to remove it...
Q: Is there a deadline for removal of property?
A: A schedule for removal of property will be established for each sales event. This information is available under the More Info button from the Sales Calendar or the...
I parked my M116A2 in my girlfriend's drive way and they wrote us a letter saying that (it) the RV had to be registered, or else we'll face fines.
Um, how is a single-axle, 3/4 ton flatbed utility trailer an RV? :-x
I was out with the truck again this Saturday, and I couldn't get the brake lights to stick on. It magically healed. I tried for about 15 minutes to reproduce the problem, and I just couldn't. I suspect the kiddies that like to play on and in my truck fiddled with something that I just happend to...
Okay the whole axle and brake cables are gone on that trailer. Someone beat me to it. The handles were in bad shape so I didn't bother.
While I was there, I took the landing leg, and the tow chains. I do have the wiring shield that I removed from it last year. Other than that, I can't help ya...
Sorry about the delay, I just couldn't make an out of state trip yet with all my training. I expect to go this month. Hope that wrecked trailer is still there...
Considering this problem is a new development, I doubt that's it.
Anyhow I ordered up the switch and some replacement front axle boots, so I'll be doing some work on my truck soon here...
While I haven't specifically noted if there was zero air in the tanks when I checked the lights (it's not something I've thought of yet to eliminate) I'm quite sure that's not related.
Brake lights stuck on…
The brake lights on my M52A2 are staying on constantly. They’ll only turn off when the dash switch is turned to off. I suspect that the brake light switch is kaput, and that I’ll need a new one. Any advice out there?
