The other day I ran out of fuel in the Deuce about 20 feet away from the pumps. FML. Put more fuel in it, found out my fuel pump doesn't work, new fuse, and now my truck takes for ever to start. Before it started in about 3 seconds with about 3 turnovers, now it takes about 30 seconds worth...
Thanks. I just copied you. I still got to work on that streak on the door though. I just used that extra brown on the troop seats and bows. That only took half a gallon of the two though.
And it's Morgan, not Megan. She gets that all the time.
Had a lot of Fun yesterday. Scott and his Fiancée, Jerry and Jod(y or i), and I got to hang out at the airport all day and sit in the sun and bs. Was good meeting everyone. Learned some things on the way home. Like don't pass 2 gas stations to get to the third. Ran out of gas 20 feet away...
I'm pretty sure you guys get enough of these. But I need some help. Trying to get proper bumper markings. Trying to figure out how to write 2nd ACR 4th platoon F troop and 2nd acr 1st platoon H-company. It's from Desert Storm. Is that enough info to figure it out?
All the bubbles are gone this morning, tried to smudge and peel the areas but you can't even tell there was anything wrong with them. Just as hard and solid as the rest of the paint. Only evidence are the water streaks from where I guess the rest of the water finely was pushed out. Still have...
Now you tell me... I did go pretty heavy in the application. Now I know better. I'm hoping it's just the bubbly area that I have to redo. There are several areas on the truck where it looks wet, but dry to the touch. Like the paint is darker and in streaks.
And I'm sorry for...
We had that random, all night, rain storm here in Olympia. It's starting to dry and bubbles are going away, but the paint isn't attatched to the metal anymore. It sat for almost 2 days before the rain. Went to home depot and they said it didn't dry enough because I probably put to thick of a...
No dilution. The paint gun didn't seem to happy with the straight paint. I did the whole exterior and it took me 1 gallon. Granted I spilled a good chunk of it trying to get it into that small 1 quart storage container. I also applied it pretty heavily. I'm gonna shoot the 2nd coat tomorrow...
1st coat down. Thankfully it's green this time. A really nice green too. Pretty much used 1 gallon for everything except the interior.
Thanks for your write up wsucougarx. This bud's for you. Pretty must followed everything you did. Even the sprayer. It works fine until your just about...
