I just went out in the garage to look at mine and I would build a davit that went into the right rear ring mount. That would be removable and would not involve hacking up the original vehicle.

How about putting your stuff in a m105 trailer and loading the vette in the back of the truck at a loading dock. We have seen several people on here with cars in the back.

The truck is looking great. One piece of advise I have is during the parade put you transfer case in low range as this will let you pick a gear and not be slipping your clutch the whole parade especially with your oversize tires.

That is the guy down in san clemente California that sells them on ebay. He is a complete lying pos. I don't think I have heard much in his ads that is not B.S and people still keep falling for his tijuana paint job trucks.
The price to register a vehicle historic is $70 a year and that is it. With historic there is no weight fees but you are not allowed to haul anything either and the use is primarly for display/parades.

I had the DMV do that on my first truck I registered and they basically said tough luck it goes off of the sale date. The auto club never charged penalties, it was based of of title issue date. Maybe the reason I have had such good luck with AAA is that everything I am registering is for...

you will have to take the truck to AAA for a vin verification, other then that the auto club has been very easy for me to register my trucks. If you are near John Wayne airport go to the one right by there and talk to Kirk.
