Humvee audio systems: What have you added / done to your rig ?

How do you like the sound it gives out ? Can you post some more phots of the install ? I think this is the way to go but those things start at around $500 so I am trying to see what my options are before I dive in..

Humvee audio systems: What have you added / done to your rig ?

After chasing down some major squeaks and rattles my Humvee really isn't all that loud to be honest with ya. The major "noise" was coming from where the hood meets up against the body and that was solved with the "soft" side of some Velcro on both sides. Sounds simple but it works like a champ...

    Stall converter rpm recommendation

Ok, I will bite. Their is NO WAY a 4L80E with the computer, driveshafts, crossmember, and everything else needed to install into a HUMVEE will be the same price as a built 700r4 installed. Its just not possible. I have a 4L80E in my 55 Bel-Air so I know the cost of these transmissions. The...

Humvee audio systems: What have you added / done to your rig ?

Getting to the point where i need to add some sorta audio to the truck. Figure the easiest way would be to do a bluetooth sound bar kinda thing and call it a day. Not looking for concert quality just something to have in the background so the sqeaks and rattles dont drive me insane. Be so kind...

Adding A Turbocharger To A Not Turbocharger 6.5L

Find a decent hot rod shop and they can throw together a simple turbo kit for ya quite easily. I am prob going to do a re-mounted turbo setup on my truck over the winter which will save me allot of "needed" parts and so on. Do some google searching for "rear mounted turbo" setups and you will...

    Onboard air

I will once I get the install done and finished. The compressor itself is going under the right rear seat, and the tank is going under the hood. I bought the complete air horn kit with the 24volt Viair compressor and tank from Air Horns Of Texas. They are super cool dudes that will build you a...

    Onboard air

I picked up a 24volt air horn kit from a company out or texas. Comes with the 24volt compressor, 10 gallon tank, fittings, horn itself, etc. So now besides having a 44" horn that hits at almost 200psi I have front and rear on board air hookups for whatveer i might need them for.

Anyone running 42" tires on 17" aftermarket wheels ? If so I need your help... Question: I just installed a 4" lift on my Humvee (2" spring and 2" body) and now have room for bigger tires. Since my truck is more of a on-road daily driver and not a rock crawler by any means I think Im going to...

    Humvee wheel questions!

Look into aftermarket wheels for a Hummer H1 (basically same as a Humvee). That will get you in the right ballpark as far as sizes go.
