Well gen 1 crapped out on me out here in IA! So I went to Autozone and got a cadi alternator. First "new" one was bad so got another and it works great!! The work I had to do today didn't get approved so I pulled my 1009 in the body shop and started working on it. Got most of the dents repaired...

Wow thats good to know!! I do know they do not require much electric to run but tranny fluid.... Hope I don't have any of those problems! I have put in new batteries, electric fuel pump, sending unit/tank, and lots of other stuff! So we will say a prayer and rock and roll!!:razz:

Lol I have all those and a tow bar! :razz: and a jump box! The trip was great and had no problems! Now work for the week and drive back on Friday.

Not to sure I have no tac. I think 80 was too fast but seems to like 72. Would like to put in a pyro and tac and turn up the fuel a little! I'm good with 70 just like to have the power if I need it.

I lifted mine and have had no problems. But I think I would try a transfer case drop b4 spending 700+ in the drive shaft! The drop is reversible and is free. 2cents

Junkie the ps pump is burried but in the factory place. The drivers side alt is on top of the compressor. This ac is aftermarket so it looks nothing like a factory one. CycleJay the consol is a civi pull out. It was in the truck when I got it! You can find them at salvages.

Well haven't posted anything on here in a while but have changed out the whole fuel delivery system! New tank changed to 30 gal. New fuel sending unit and electric pump. Also changed out the filter base to a spin on! No more problems! Had to rework the steering column! New wiring.

The best thing to do on the wipers is to put civi on! If you want oe you can pm me and I can send you some I have laying around. I personally like a hard top! That is what I have put on both of my deuces. I think all the trucks leak when it rains!!
