Why not a backup electric air pump on a switch in the cab.

Engine can still run with dead batteries.....but no air for brakes...yikes....:cookoo:

5 gal can of diesel and a 12v diesel fuel pump connected at the back near where the tank connects pressurize and look for leaks.

Go to a local parts store and get a 12v fuel pump for diesel and put it inline before the filter with a switch to the battery (only the positive and negative on 1 battery). Run it for 20 seconds then try to start (DO NOT FLOOR IT WHILE TRYING TO START) leave your foot off the accelerator till it...

May slow you down a little if you are running B100 (thats like jet fuel for diesels!)

Agreed a good piece of the cost is in the barrel, I wouldn't bite on offering a higher price just yet. You may be able to talk to some local shops that are willing to give it away (along with their used transmission fluid if you provide the barrel)

Heck I'd give them 10% off and sell mine for 6K and it HAS burners!

Sometimes you just throw two batteries in a GL truck and it starts and runs but it is a gamble.

Oh and remove any pressurized cans ( spray cans) from the area. I had a friend who didn't.... They become pressurized blow torches when a piece of hot slag hits them. He had been welding for decades.

Cold ram air intake from the front and WVO blend in the tank. Mine runs quieter now, than on tank diesel alone.

Oh from what I have noticed this blend runs better than tank diesel as my Benz runs better (quieter and smoother) than on pump diesel.

It actually comes out somewhat clear, tinted somewhat...but you can tell it's water. As soon as the oil hits 160 deg because from 120-160 water is falling out of the oil. When draining you will see the difference between the water and the oil. I always drain into a plastic container so I can...

I only use first when towing or on a hill, or trying to pull someone out of a ditch. Otherwise it's in 2nd when starting off.

Having done this for years now I can tell you you don't have to heat it above 160 deg for the water to fall out. My setup has an upside down barrel with a drain in the 3/4 top bung hole and the run valve welded in about 2" from the"bottom" drain. Then I cut the bottom of the barrel out and found...
